Pete Carroll - Founder/Owner
Founder of Generations Entertainment, he is best known for his drive and motivation. Graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 2001 he then set his sights on Southern California, specifically Orange County, to start his business. His experience in event entertainment spans 13 years and over 600 events in both the wedding and corporate industry. He has hosted events as small as 11 and as large as 1000 people. Starting in 1995, he assumed responsibilities of client relations, marketing, and event development for Music for You; of Madison, Wisconsin. Pete helped to establish Music For You as a premier company in the Madison area and helped to develop new, unique ideas for involvement at both wedding receptions and corporate events alike.
In December of 2001, Generations Entertainment was formed with a new vision for how events should be; client centered, individual, well organized and entertaining. From that point he never looked back. Today, Pete works full-time as a professional emcee organizing, hosting and entertaining at over 110 events per year. His talents, unique ideas and wit are as strong as ever. When he’s not at a wedding or corporate event, you will most likely find him at John Wayne Airport where he spends his spare time learning and flying as a general aviation pilot.
Pete has a large and impressive list of client referrals behind him. His experience, personality and drive have helped to create memorable events for families and companies spanning from Minneapolis to Chicago; and now Pete’s referrals include literally hundreds of families and companies all over Southern California. Justin Lopez-Owner/Operator
Justin was born and raised in Whittier, Ca. After graduating Cal High, Justin served six years in the US Army as an Intelligence officer overseas. While in Germany, he worked several years in a Wurzburg nightclub. Upon moving back, he took a position with Vision Entertainment and specialized in Event Production where he learned to Manage staffiing, vendors, stage management and production of events of all sizes.
Justin has a natural and uncanny ablility on the microphone. His demeanor and ability to work in front of large crowds is unlike that of the "usual" saturday night DJ. He likes to joke that this ability comes from his experience in the military and working for the airlines. He says, "If I can brief a panel of Generals or tell a family going home for the holidays that their flight is cancelled, I can certainly engage a crowd that wants to have fun!"
Since coming aboard, Justin has been phenomenal. His technical skills are second to none. Justin now manages the day to day operations of Generations Equipment as well as working full-time as a professional emcee. He has also taken over the creation of our Signature Photo Montages and First Dance CDs and has helped to plan and build our new DJ units.
