In 2008, Generations Entertainment began offering a whole new element to it's clients in room lighting. At the beginning our goal was simple: Offer fun, elegant lighting that was both cost effective and energy efficient.

After much research, we chose several options of lighting to offer our clients; Pinspotting, LED wall lighting and GOBO effects. 
We have added an option for LED up lighting, as well as Pinspots. With this, we've been able to offer an additional option for clients looking for that added flare or style that only lighting can provide.
 
If you have looked at lighting as an option for your event you may have some knowledge about both pinspots and wall lighting. If you’re not familiar, wall lighting is cast upwards on the walls throughout the room.  You choose the lighting color which best compliments your event.

Pinspots are elevated narrow beam lights that are commonly cast down and used to highlight centerpieces, a sweetheart table or the cake table.

We now offer two different model lights for wall lighting. The first model we offer is a white LED wall light which allows us the ability to create any color by adding colored gels over the lights
 
The second utilize a combination of Red, Green and Blue LED lights. Now with the use of the RGB color spectrum you can achieve some amazing colors but not all of them, for instance white. A bright color that somewhat resembles White can be created but just as in grade school trying to get white from mixing colors never quite gives you pure white.

For those of you where you are having you event outside of a facility that was designed for large events (i.e. Park, beach, personal residence, etc.) power maybe an issue. With LED lights there is less need for electricity, for example we can power up to 50 of our LED lights from one electrical outlet.

Now even though we like the “green” factor to our lights that’s just the beginning. The most enticing feature these lights provide is versatility. These lights have the option to mix the spectrum of RGB on their own or they can be linked together. Now with the linking of the lights together and the use of a DMX controller we can fully control the color of your room on command.

Imagine your room in its setting and having the lights slowly cycle between any number of colors or through full color spectrum. The settings can be adjusted to a constant cycle through the spectrum in a slow, subtle and elegant effect. 

As much as these lights offer for the look and feel of the room throughout your event they truly shine when it comes to the dance. Having the DMX controller not only allows most of the features we have mentioned so far but can fully transform the light of the room for the dance. There are almost endless possibilities when it comes to the dance effect; from the entire color of the room changing with the beat of the music to having a different color from every fixture and still have the color change with the beat. They can also strobe individually or even create a chase scene where a single color tracks around the entire room.
